In this course you will get to know the ingenious medium resin.

Here you have the opportunity to advance your artistic development in the course. In this course I will introduce you to the secrets of resin in theory and practice.


Look forward to an exciting day and to the diverse possibilities that this medium offers. After curing, it impresses with an unmistakable glass character!

You too can create your own individual work of art, which you will take with you after the workshop!

Our day together

I will accompany you on this day with valuable tips & tricks

and stand by your side for YOUR unmistakable picture.

We start with breakfast together and get to know each other.
Meanwhile, the theory part takes place.

Then it's off to the studio and we'll get started.

You can experiment on a wide variety of surfaces such as wood, acrylic glass, canvas, aluminum etc.

On formats up to 40x40cm you will learn and experience the basics of resin and its processing and you will go home with your self-designed work.

Please note that the resin requires a curing time of at least 24 hours.

The works can be picked up the following day.You will find them there too

debriefing held. Please plan about 1 hour here.
If required, shipping to you can also be organized.

In the theory part you get:
Answers to the following questions

Information about pre- and post-processing when dealing with resin
 

  • Which safety measures do I have to observe?

  • What do I need as basic equipment?

  • Which substrates are suitable?

  • Proper handling of resin during the painting process

  • Where and how can I use which type of resin?

  • What colors and additives can I mix into the resin?

  • What do I have to pay particular attention to and much more

The course includes:

  • high-quality paints, pastes, pigments to use

  • Working materials such as cups, stirrers, cover foil, etc.

  • personal handouts with valuable tips & tricks to take away
     

Not included in the course are:

  • Backgrounds - but these can be purchased from me in the course.

  • Resin

Please bring your own:

  • Heat gun, if available (please NO hair dryer!)

  • Masking tape (brand tape!)

  • a packet of disposable nitrile gloves

  • substrates

  • Resin

  • Workwear

  • kitchen roll

  • ...and lots of fun experimenting!
